…”Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it.”
Numbers 13:30
The Hebrew people came to a moment that would change their lives. They had seen the faithfulness and power of God. He destroyed their enemies, healed their bodies, provided for them in the wilderness and gave them a promise of blessing. When they came to their promise, they allowed their eyes to deceive them and became fearful. The people living in the land that God said He would give them were strong and mighty. Instead of believing in the promise of God they became fearful. They saw themselves and their weaknesses. Instead of entering into God’s blessing they were sent back into the wilderness. They missed their moment to receive. Why, because they took their eyes off God and placed it on themselves. God never leads His people to do things in their own power. There is something God wants to do in your life. It is bigger than you. The Holy Spirit releases dreams and vision into your heart. It is God’s plan for you. It is a work that He will do through you. This work is bigger than your abilities. When people see what God is doing, they will know that it is His power doing it through you. He will receive all the glory. His power on us makes us well able. Well able to lift heavy burdens. Well able to dream big and to do great things. Nothing is impossible, if you only believe. Do not see yourself as week or defeated. See yourself with an anointing from heaven. With great obstacles comes great power. You are well able, because God is with. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. Do not doubt. Believe.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, I thank You for the high call on my life. I will believe Your Word and do mighty things for Your glory. I will not fear. Use my hands. Use my life. I live for You. Let the world see You through my life. I give You all the glory and honor. In the mighty name of Jesus, amen.
Now go do great things for God
