THANK YOU

Now on his way to Jerusalem, Jesus traveled along the border between Samaria and Galilee. As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy met him. They stood at a distance and called out in a loud voice, “Jesus, Master, have pity on us!”  When he saw them, he said, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went, they were cleansed. One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him-and he was a Samaritan. Jesus asked, “Were not all ten cleansed?    If you want to see a difference, begin to live a thankful life.  We live in a time where there is so much bad news.  We are bombarded with bad news night and day.  Our thoughts turn negative and we feel like there is no tomorrow.  The truth is that you are really blessed.  You have so much to thank God for.  Sometimes we get so negative on life that we forget how blessed we really are.  We concentrate on the negative instead of being thankful for our positives.  Thankfulness prepares you for increase.  It attracts more to your life.  So many times we are discouraged that we might not have something or are afraid that we might lose what we do have.  That is not the character and heart of God, and it should not be yours as well.  Thank God for what you do have, and trust Him for what you need in the future.  When was the last time you took time just to say “Father, Thank You.”  Stop living in the negative.  Live in the positives.  Be thankful for everything.  It will protect your heart and remind you that He is God, not you.

Prayer: Father, Thank You.  You have blessed me so much.  You have given me a wonderful new day to do something great for your glory.  You have given me life.  Thank you for my family, my church, my possessions, my country.  Father, I am so thankful for all you have blessed me with.  But most of all, I thank you for your son Jesus.  If it was not for your love and His sacrifice, I would have nothing.  Thank you Jesus. Amen.

Now go do great things for God.
