3 Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. 4 Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.
Proverbs 3:3-4
Favor is a reward for the faithful. Obeying the commands of God and living a life of love will open doors for you tomorrow. Your name will be honored and people will know who you are and whom you serve. God will get glory through you. This is the reward of a person who walks in love and is faithful. Favor can open doors. There are some places that you need to go that money cannot get you in. Favor can open any door. The Word promises that you will have favor with God and man. When God’s favor is upon you, even kings will come to you to know what the Lord is doing. Man will try their best to always bless you. I have come to an understanding that when a man has favor, it is as if the very hand of God is upon them. Man can sense that there is glory upon you. They want to be a part of it. They will look for ways to bless you. Naomi was a widow woman. Her husband and her sons had died. Ruth was the wife of one of her sons. She loved Naomi. Even when Naomi told her to go home and find another husband, Ruth would not leave her. She stayed faithful to be with her and not leave her alone. She loved Naomi. Because of her faithfulness, God brought her into a new land and to the feet of Boaz. Boaz was a wealthy, and righteous man that God had prepared for Ruth to find favor with. At the feet of Boaz, favor was released and Ruth received a husband. Naomi was able to live in the care of the new family the rest of her life. Ruth and Naomi, had God’s favor upon their lives. You never know how God will change your future. Stay obedient. Stay faithful. His hand of favor will be on you.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank You for your never ending favor that You have blessed me with. Your favor called me into Your kingdom. I can live knowing that You have already declared that I am blessed. I ask You to lead me into greater levels of revelation of the knowledge of You. I thank You for Your favor that is upon my life. In Jesus name, amen.
Now go do something great for God
