At the shore

1 Then they came to the other side of the sea, to the country of the Gadarenes. 2 And when He had come out of the boat, immediately there met Him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit, 3 who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no one could bind him, not even with chains, 4 because he had often been bound with shackles and chains. And the chains had been pulled apart by him, and the shackles broken in pieces; neither could anyone tame him. 5 And always, night and day, he was in the mountains and in the tombs, crying out and cutting himself with stones.  6 When he saw Jesus from afar, he ran and worshiped Him. 7 And he cried out with a loud voice and said, “What have I to do with You, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I implore You by God that You do not torment me.”  8 For He said to him, “Come out of the man, unclean spirit!” 9 Then He asked him, “What is your name?” And he answered, saying, “My name is Legion; for we are many.” 10 Also he begged Him earnestly that He would not send them out of the country.  11 Now a large herd of swine was feeding there near the mountains. 12 So all the demons begged Him, saying, “Send us to the swine, that we may enter them.” 13 And at once Jesus gave them permission. Then the unclean spirits went out and entered the swine (there were about two thousand); and the herd ran violently down the steep place into the sea, and drowned in the sea. 14 So those who fed the swine fled, and they told it in the city and in the country. And they went out to see what it was that had happened. 15 Then they came to Jesus, and saw the one who had been demon-possessed and had the legion, sitting and clothed and in his right mind. And they were afraid.

Mark 5:1-15

The bible says that this man was so severely possessed by the devil.  Thousands were inside of him.  The amazing thing about authority is that it is recognized.  As soon as Jesus came to the shore, even the devils had to make room for the son of God.  This man may have been in bondage, but Jesus was there to set Him free.  Are you in bondage?  Are you looking back to the past?  You may not be out of control, but if there is a wound from the past that you still carry the emotions and pain, you need to be free by the power of the name of Jesus.  It is impossible to go forward when you are always looking backward.  You may have tried counseling, or even prescription drugs to deal with the pain and the memories, but only Jesus can set you free.  He came to break the chains that bind you and remove the pain of the past.  In Jesus there is healing for the body, and the mind.  You do not have to battle with depression.  You do not have to live like a victim.  Jesus has come to your shore.  If you will bow down and worship Him today and ask Him for freedom, whatever devils that have been hurting your life will leave.  There is power in the name of Jesus.  You may still have the memories, but you will not have the pain.  Do you want to be free?  Jesus is a gentlemen.  He will not force himself upon you.  You must invite Him to move in your life.  Get ready to change.  Get ready to come out of prison.  Whom the Son sets free is free indeed.  Let me pray for you.

Lord Jesus,  I thank You for the power I possess through Your name.  You have given me the right to use Your name.  You said, “In My name, you will cast out demons.”  Right now!  In the name of Jesus.  I speak to every devil who has been hurting this reader.  In the name of Jesus!  Come Out!  I set them free.  Past!  You no longer can hold onto the chains around their hearts.  I command every chain to break.  In the name of Jesus!  Devil.  Get out of their lives!  In Jesus name.  Amen.

Now worship and praise Jesus for your freedom.  Allow the Holy Spirit to pour out His presence on you.  Enjoy the freedom of the Lord.  Thank Him.

Now go do something great for God
