14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. 15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”

Romans 8:14-15

I once heard that nothing is thicker than blood.  By the blood of Jesus we enter into a new family.  The family of God.  You have been chosen by the all mighty God to be in His family.  He called you in and placed His Spirit inside of you.  The Word of God says that God looked at man and saw no good in them.  So God decided to change man from the inside out.  The Spirit of God is who God is.  When God chose you, He sent His Spirit to live and dwell inside of you.  That same Spirit that came from the  inner being of God is now living in you.  God no longer sees man as having no good.  He sees you and me.  He sees His Spirit moving inside of us.  That is why the bible says “Greater is He that is in You, then he that is in the World.”  The Spirit of your heavenly family is in you.  The Holy Ghost.  That same Spirit stirs us to always cry out to God.  “Abba, Father.”  Your Father knows that you will be victorious in any situation.  He has given you His Spirit.  What makes Him who He is.  He will teach you.  The family Spirit will raise you higher then any mountain.  You have been adopted into the family of God. Abba!

Prayer: Father, thank you.  For choosing to love me.  It is an honor to know I am in Your family.  Allow me to spread Your good news to others, and lead Your children back home. Holy Spirit, teach me all about Jesus.  Help me walk a life that is holy and pleasing to the family.  In Jesus name, amen.
