Whose Report Will You Believe

The light of the eyes rejoices the heart, And a good report makes the bones healthy.
Proverbs 15:30

Belief is the foundation of faith.  The scriptures say all things are possible to the believer.  When we hear a report and believe that it is true, the process of faith begins to bring it into our lives.  There will be many reports you will hear.  Good and bad.  The question is, whose report will you believe?  Will you believe the negative report of sickness from a hospital or will you believe you are healed in the Word of God?  Will you see your bank account and believe that there is not enough, or will you take your eyes off of yourself and put them on God and declare that He is more than enough.  There will always be two reports.  You have to decide which report will you believe.  I chose to believe the Word of God.  We must never face life without God’s Word and promises.  God’s Word is our path to victory.  Faith comes by hearing the Word.  The more we hear, the easier it is for us to believe.  Our mind changes into the mind of God.  When bad reports come our way, we have stored the good report of the Word in our heart and claim that as our possession.  We let go of the negative report of the world and take hold of the good report of the Word.  When the world says destruction is headed our way, we say “The Lord keeps me from all harm and watches over my life.” Psalm 121:7.   When the negative report says you are sick, we believe the good report of the Word of God that says, “by the stripes of Jesus, I am healed.” 1 Peter 2:24.  It is all about what you believe.  If your eyes are on God’s Word as the foundation of life, you will never be defeated.  We have complete victory through the promises of the Word of God.  Believe the good report of the Lord.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, I believe You.  You called me into Your Kingdom to walk in victory in life through my faith in You.  I will not believe the negative report of the world.  I will not be moved by uncertainty and fear.  I believe the Word of God.  It is in Your Word I place my trust.  Thank You Jesus for your unfailing love You have shown me.  I am so blessed.  In Jesus name, amen.

Now go do great things for God
