You were bought at a price

1 Corinthians 7:23

Our life is not our own. When Jesus called His disciples, the bible says that they forsook all and followed Him. Whatever direction they were headed, whatever plans they had made about the future, they released all of them when Jesus showed up in their lives. You cannot have it both ways. You cannot expect God to change to adjust to your lifestyle or your desires. God has sent His Spirit to earth to lead you. The Spirit is focused on guiding you into the will of God. Not yours. Coming to Jesus means that we must lay down our lives daily. We must accept God’s plan for our life and live it out. No matter how big the sacrifice is, living God’s plan is the best way to live. He will reward you greatly. You were bought with a price. The blood of Jesus Christ. Live for Him.

Prayer: Father, I accept Your plan for my life. I lay down my ambitions and desires. I want Your heart. Holy Spirit, lead me into the plan of God. I give You all the honor Lord. In Jesus name, amen.
