Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my strength and my Redeemer.
Psalm 19:4
Your heart and mouth are connected. Whatever you have been thinking and storing up in your heart will be made known through your words. If you are a person who speaks defeat, it is because defeat has taken root in your heart. If you are a person that speaks victory, it is because in your heart you have already seen the victory and you believe it. The mouth always reveals what the heart is holding. You must guard and keep your heart at all costs. Surround yourself with people that pick you up and do not pull you down. Look for people who speak faith and are always looking to see the best in others. They pull others up and encourage them with their words. Your environment will change you. Check your ears. What are you listening to? What music are you hearing? It all goes into the heart. You want to change and be a more confident person full of faith? It starts with your heart. Store up strength by hearing the Word of God. Let your mouth speak God’s Word. Watch how quickly situations change because you examined and made changes to your heart. The Word of God is a shield and strength to those who hide it in their heart. When trials come, God’s Word will flow out of your mouth and lead you to victory. Guard your heart.
Prayer: Father, I ask you to help me guard my heart. Show me areas that need to change. Spirit of God, convict me when I am hearing or seeing things that are not pleasing to you. Lord Jesus, I ask you to fill my mouth with Your Word. I thank you for the power to change. In Jesus name, amen.
Now go do something great for God
