Covered

“Blessed are they whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord will never count against him.

Romans 4:7-8

Have you ever messed up? That is a loaded question. We all have. Whether you have hurt someone, or disappointed others, we all have memories and regrets of failures in our lives. In Jesus, we can take our disappointments and ask Him for our sins and failures to be forgiven and covered. He shed His blood on the cross of Calvary to give you a second chance. A new beginning. Whenever we stumble, we should never run away from Him but run to Jesus. He is God’s love given to us to save and redeem us back to the Father. He is your great escape from the failures of the past. Release your shame and guilt to Jesus. Don’t let the devil steal one more day from you by reminding you of the past. Tell the devil that Jesus has forgiven you from all your sins. “I am clean of all guilt and shame.” Let forgiveness be a shield to your heart. Just as Jesus has forgiven you, now forgive others. Release people from the faults and offenses they committed against you. Introduce them to the one that has come to save them. When you do, you are starting to act like your Heavenly Father.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, Thank you for forgiving me of all my sins. I accept Your sacrifice on the cross. My sins died with Your body 2000 years ago. When You arose I came alive as well. Now I live together as one with You. I am a part of Your body. I will not look back with guilt or shame ever again. My sins are covered forever. In Jesus name. Amen

Now go do something great for God
